New easy to install model. Progressive LSD Conversion set, you will no longer suffer from losing grip! The set is mounted on your standard differential transforming it into a clutch-type 2-way limited slip differential. No more one-wheel spin on start, and sloppy turns around corners. With this conversion set, you will gain the true performance of a proper limited slip differential. This kit does not require any machine work to each spider gear luke the earlier version. All parts are made in the N7 quality standard. Instructions provided with kit. Professional installation is required. Use oil for limited slip differentials ONLY once fitted. For friction shims, we use the same material as OEM LSD clutches to avoid metal shredding. Therefore, shims are perfectly safe for long term usage! Preload is provided with high rate springs, and we get a dynamic lock from 37.5° angled ramps. All of this together gives 25% progressive lock which increases with revs and vice versa. The set is made from extremely strong s6 tool steel. Parts are heat-treated and hardened to 40HRC under the protection of argon to avoid deformation. Materials used in the production are of the highest quality tool steel. We harden and nitrate the materials to achieve the highest quality surface finish possible. Available with 2.47 and 2.56 ratio. Bad bearings is ok. Good condition lsd hub, has around 90nm friction torque. New Timken roller bearings and Corteco seals. Teeth mesh was checked with engineers blue ink. I strip, clean, inspect, paint, set pinion position, pinion bearing lash, side bearing lash, tooth mesh, tooth play, sperr pre-load. This is very useful on wet road. 15% Decel makes it’s easier for less experienced drivers who have less throttle/steering control. Lets you brake later into the corners at the track without oversteer. Good for rally or drift with 60% lock on Decel, lets you balance the rear of the car easier. 6 shims gives better reliability. I can set with low pre-load so it makes corner insertion more easy and safe on wet/normal driving conditions. A must have for motorsport/fast track use(Nordschleife) 6 shims gives better reliability. Provides faster lap times on track, lets you brake harder and later into the corner without oversteer. For Motorsport use 6 friction shims recommended. Shims can overheat and melt.
